About Intercontinental Technology Limited
Intercontinental Technology Limited (ITL) was formed in 1996 starting as a Greenfield site, and has extended its buildings to accommodate increasing markets and demands. Since its inception it has been successfully manufacturing and exporting high quality pipe fittings and flanges to the power, energy, marine and process industries in a wide range of materials such as Copper-Nickel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Aluminium Alloys, etc.
Manufacturing Unit
ITL has its manufacturing unit in the Export Processing Zone, Chittagong. Bangladesh. An exclusive zone specified for foreign investors and local export based Industries. The facilities provided in the zone are second to none in the sub-continent.
Our Location
The zone is situated approximately 2 kilometres from Chittagong seaport, which has frequent services to the Far East via Singapore and to Europe and the USA via the Middle East.
Equipments and Workforce
The factory is well equipped to produce a wide range of formed and machined components. Our cutting section is equipped with plasma cutter, circular and band saws. Forming section has got a bank of hydraulic presses with maximum capacity up to 850 Ton for both hot and cold forming operations with required tooling. Machine shop has state of the art CNC machining centres as well as conventional capstan lathes and other purpose built machines. Heat treatment is done in clean natural gas fired furnaces. For cleaning and surface finish we have acid pickling bath, surface grinders and shot blasting machines. A well-equipped Inspection Department ensures the high quality of the products. All our master gauges are periodically calibrated from NAMAS qualified laboratories in the UK and are being used for regular in-house calibration of the equipments and gauges in use. The Workforce is seen as the company’s most valuable asset as they are highly skilled dedicated and customer focussed.
